Sallie Crotty, Ed.M., is a writer, educator, and mental health advocate. Her poetry, essays, and articles have appeared in multiple publications. Her memoir, Out of the Ashes: A Story of Recovery and Hope, released in June 2022. A native Texan, Sallie now lives in West Seattle with her husband.
